FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions, please feel free to send an email if you have other questions.

1.  Why did you become a missionary?  I've been interested in missions since I was a little girl.  When Missionaries would come to church I would get so excited to hear about the things they did all over the world.  So missions has always been something I've been interested in.

2.  Why did you choose Romania?  When communism fell and they started showing the orphanages on TV I got a burden for the people of Romania.  I knew that someday I would adopt a child from Romania.  During my senior year in college I decided that I wanted to take a missions trip to Romania.  So I went with a team from Colorado and we spent two weeks in Arad, Romania working w/ orphanages.  I knew on the train ride to Arad that I would come back to Romania for a long term type of trip.

3.  What typed of work do you do?  I basically was a secretary for the Dahm family.  I did whatever was necessary to give them more time to focus on the Bible school and the church.   It may not seem like the most exciting thing to move overseas to do but I knew that I was supposed to be there to help them do what God has called them to do in Romania.

4.  What is the major religion in Romania?  The main religion is the Romanian Orthodox church, with well over 80% with the rest being  5% Roman Catholic, 3.5% Protestant,1% Greco-Catholic, Muslim and Jewish.
