Why do you need to be born again?
because of sin man is separated from God
because Jesus Christ died once and for all for your sins
only through Christ can we become reconciled
through salvation we have eternal life
it is something everyone must do for themselves, just because you were raised in a Christian family or church does not make you saved.
How can you be born again?
by simply asking God to forgive you of your sins and to come into your life and mean it with you whole heart.
it doesn't have to be a special prayer, it just needs to be from your heart by acknowledging that without God you are nothing but with Him you are everything.
What does the Bible say about it?
Romans 3:23 Everyone has sinned
Romans 6:23 The penalty for sin is death
Romans 5:8 Jesus died for all sin
Romans 10:8-10 To become born again we must believe in our heart and confess it out loud with our mouth that Jesus is Lord
Mark 3:11 Knowing about Jesus is not enough because even Satan and his demons know and believe in Jesus. You must ask Him to be your Savior
